"There's this guy, pretty tall guy, often times people don't even realize he's there but he is. Usually sits at the back, wears nothing but black. His eyes however, were bright, red as the autumn leaves, and they for sure aren't leaving your eyes once you lock with his."

When will the full game be released?
My goal in mind for the full release date is on Oct 30, 2025., note this is a tentative date. I will announce an official release once everything is ready and 300% done.
How many Love Interest are there?
There will only be 2 main love interest: Sol and Crowe.
Will the full game be pay to play?
Nope! I'm still new to this visual novel coding along with this being my first published game so everything will be free! NOTE HOWEVER, for the NSFW version, it's going to be behind a paywall. If you are able to pay $5 or more, you can gain access to it. (It is a one time purchase as long as you have an itch.io account, it is recommended).
Will the game be available in mobile?
I am not sure about this since integrating the game from PC to mobile is quite hard along with redoing assets to fit the small scale of the screen in mobile, I am not a professional programmer or have enough programming skills and knowledge for that. So the chances of it being in mobile is very low.
NOTES TO REMEMBER BEFORE DOWNLAODING THE GAME:
>>> This game is to work in 64-bit. RenPy's current build supports 64 bit and is recommended for the game to not go through issues.
>>> Please download the base free game to see if the game works for you before buying the NSFW ver.
CONCERNS ON ERRORS:
If your game does not start or keeps crashing, try this solution. Note this will wipe your entire progress and leaves the game to a clean state but this means it can clean up old code that causes errors.
(if you encountered an error, please do send me an email in supp.fantasiakitt@gmail.com and I'll do my best to fix it.)
DO NOT MERGE THE NEW FILES IN THE OLD FILES, this also causes the game to crash.
1.) Via Win+R type in %appdata%
2.) Go to the RenPy folder
3.) Delete 'The Kid at the Back' folder
This will let you have a clean slate.

Is this a scam? I've tried to buy this game twice now and it continues to say I have insufficient funds or that I'm using the wrong postal code for my card. However it takes the money from my account. The regular nonpaid game downloaded just fine but the paid version will not even send me a link of purchase or the download link. Support also will not answer my messages. I'm unsure of what to do.
Is support giving you a generic answer or have they not answered at all? If it's the latter I'd just wait a bit. I paid through paypal personally and got the game just fine it's not a scam.
I ended up having to use PayPal because my cards just didnโt work. They didnโt respond to me until today and it was just to let me know my purchase had gone through because Iโd already figured it out. Lol but what can ya do. I know they are probably really busy. Games awesome though glad I got it!

its not a scam its probably just an error on your end

I've placed quite a lot of my next plans on my last devlog so expect for an update for the next month or 2. As I've mentioned previous times, I cannot guarantee updates since anything could happen that might delay me. Eitherway, I hope to get Days 3&4 out by the end of this year.

can you get the nsfw version with a different currency than US dollar too?
I use USD as the set currency, anything that is not in USD will be converted to USD depending on your mode of payment. For example, Paypal will convert it to USD if you use it, make sure you're aware how much you're spending with your currency to convert to USD.
I love this game sooo much. At first i played the sfw versio and then i just had to buy the nsfw versio too because i loved this game so much and i wanted to support you too. I also looove the art style and the characters. Keep up the good work <3

Hello! The nsfw is a one time pay so you don't have to pay for any future updates! Just make sure to pay straight to $5 since it doesn't stack strangely enough.

I really appreciate how you put in the effort to make different branch despite the long script, I always like to click on every option available to read different story, and I love how detailed you are to place different sprites and dialogue according to the option we previously chose, I work as code programmer so imo it's actually pretty troublesome to set and test all these small details, Thank you so much for the effort to make this game so wonderful!
I love how day 1 script is quite long so I can replay the whole game again and again XD Can say that I'm so much obsessed with the story to read every single line without skipping for n number of times xD Knowing that day 2 will be lengthy keeps me excited!! Ah yes my mental feast is coming...!
